This week (or two): Foxes,ice creams & new beginnings

Happy Valentines day! I hope your all having a good one.I personally feel very ill so the only date i'm going to be going on is one with my tv and my sofa.I'm not a very lovey dovey kind of person so you won't be recieving any valentines themed posts from me as it's not my kind of thing,but I am bringing back an old series from my old blog which is the 'This week' series, if you don't know it's a post every Sunday (*fingers crossed*) where I just basically sum up my week and show you what i've been up to.Anyway without further ramblings lets just jump in:

1. My grandma knitted me the cutest fox ipad case,as you may know by now I have a slight obsession with foxes and so when she offered to make the case for me I just couldn't say no! If any of you are creative and would like the pattern to make this fox case then let me know in the comments or on any social media sites and i'll see what I can do for you.

2. I ran out of ice cream supplies in my house (this is rare) I normally get Ben & Jerry's and then ramble on at Lauren about it for probably 2 hours at a time,but I'm so sorry Lauren this time I went for something different! Yes I went for the Marks and Spencers Belgian chocolate and almond ice creams who would of ever thought I would choose it.I was mainly swayed by the lovely packaging though.

3. After recieving a new camera for christmas I made a vow to take more pictures of when a yummy dessert/cake/burger (or all of them) makes their way onto my plate.Though I never thought it would feel so awkard when your in the middle of a restaurant and you just pull out your camera,with your waiter awkwardly stood watching as you try to capture the perfect shot of your meal.I don't know how you lifestyle bloggers do it!

4. With the weather getting slightly better I have been taking my dog out for some nice lovely long walks around where I live and it has been wonderful,hopefully the weather will last!

5. These past few weeks have been great on the blog for me and I can happily say that I have fallen back in love with blogging.The blog went live,thank you for all your lovely response to it and we celebrated one year of Sophie jane a.k.a chatter girl.It has been lovely to have a fresh start.

6. I have taken sewing back up! I love blogging as a hobby,but I wanted to add something else in to my spare time that didn't involve any technology as I felt I was spending too much time on it and so I dug my old sewing box out from under my bed and I am loving it!

7. We had the best day out at Stamford (post for that should be up soon!) and we stumbled across the yummiest looking cake that I just couldn't resist taking a few snaps of.

8. I have purchased my first flowers of the year! Can you tell that I can't wait for spring? I found these daffodils in Morrisons for something like £2 and I thought it would add a touch of spring to the lounge so of course I went ahead and purchased them.

So that is all I've been up to this week.I'm on half term this week so I have a bunch of exciting posts lined up for you!
