Liebster award

Hello everyone! I am overjoyed to announce that I was nominated for the Liebster award by the lovely Lauren from Simply Lauren Elizabeth please go and check out her blog it is amazing and Lauren is such a lovely person with an amazing sense of humor - ok enough of the slushy stuff.

If your unaware,the liebster award is a brillant little thing,that is nominated to you by fellow bloggers.It is an award for new,up and coming bloggers that are out there in the big blogosphere.

Right i'm going to attempt to explain what I have to do: You get nominated, and the truely lovely person that nominated you asks 11 questions,then you go on over to your blog answer those 11 questions,nominate 11 of your favourite new bloggers and ask 11 of your questions and then your finished!

So,without any further rambling,let's get started:

Lauren's questions to me:

1.If you could invite two people to dinner (dead,alive,fictional or real ) who would they be?

Oooh,so many to choose hmmm...Well the first person has to be Lauren because she just makes me laugh sooooo much and she is just such an amazing supportive friend to me.For the second i'm going to go with Alix from I covet thee because she is so funny,but I have also seen her baking and cooking skills on youtube and her cupcakes look like they are to die for, so I think it would be a pretty handy skill for dinner

2. Describe your blog in three words.

I would describe my blog as Honest,personal ,engaging - what do you think my blog is like in three words?

3. What is your favourite book?

At the moment my favourite book is Girl online: on tour.I got it for christmas and read it in one day, the book is so gripping and I instantly fell in love with Penny and Noah's relationship.I think that the book can help so many teenagers learn about life lessons as it handles hard topics very well.If you haven't read it yet please do,it is truely amazing.

4. Why did you start your blog?

I started a blog mainly out of boredom, I saw it as something to occupy me and to stop me having so many netflix marathons.I also started one to share my experiences with people and to try help others in whatever way possible.

5. Do you have a secret talent? What is it?

Okay so nobody will really see this as a talent,but it is all I've got so don't judge.In the first few days of knowing Lauren we had a netflix marathon whilst eating Ben & Jerry's ice cream and well basically we found out that my talent is that I can go through tubs of ice cream making me an ice cream eating champion (or Lauren doesn't eat much ice cream...)

6. Favourite subject in school?

My favourite subject at school is food technology, I just love it because it's so different to all the other classes with us having a practical once a week it just gives you something more fun to look forwards to,plus my teacher is super nice - she's going on maternity leave though.. *goes cries in the corner*

7. Most awkward thing you've ever done?

Oh no - there's one memory that always comes back and it is terrible - Ugh,it's so embarrassing. Okay here it goes: When I was 7 (let's keep in mind that I was 7 ) we went to the zoo and we would always take a picnic,my sister told me to go ask our dad when we were going to have lunch so I went over to this person who was wearing the same coat and had the same hairstyle and tapped them on the back and asked them when we were having lunch, only for them to turn around and tell me they weren't my dad then this little girl came along and asked me why I was talking to her father and I got upset and annoyed and pushed her over. I feel so mean thinking back to it,but I was only 7.Also I do know what my dad looks like by the way,ugh,let's just move on and not think about it anymore

8. Are you more of a dog or cat person?

I have a dog and a cat,so it is really hard to choose,but I'm going to say cat because my blog background is cat themed and they are easier to look after and less demanding then a dog (sorry Todd)

9. What's your go to hairstyle?

I tend to just leave it down and not put a lot of effort into it,mainly because I have a lot of layers (which i'm trying to grow out) so it is really hard to do something like a braid with it and my hair is just too short to go in a lovely messy bun.

10. Who is your inspiration?

As cheesy as this is going to sound my sister is my inspiration because she has set up a successful buisness all on her own and she has shown me that if you are determined then you can acheive anything you want in life no matter what.

11. Favourite Starbucks/Costa drink?

I love costa hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows - they are one of my biggest weaknesses.
