Blogmas 2015 #16 - Christmas traditions

With christmas getting closer,I thought it would be a good time to share my christmas traditions with you for the big day and the few days leading up to it. What are your christmas traditions?

Secret santa

For the past few years my family and I have done a secret santa,as not everyone can afford to spend a lot of money on everyone,so a person gets one other person and they spend £50 or if they like more on them,so that way they don't have to spend as much and everyone gets something they want.

Winter sun

Every year me and my parents like to go abroad to get some sun,this year we are flying out on christmas eve and as some presents are too big to take with us,we normally have our christmas day the weekend before.

Decorating the house

Decorating the house is one of my favourite things to do at christmas,my mum doesn't like doing it that much,but me and my dad really enjoy it,though we have different approaches with him having a let's through tinsel everywhere method and I'm a more neat and tidy,lets have fairy lights kind of person.

Mince pies

In our house mince pies is probably our favourite festive food and we all love to make them together - they really help us to get in the festive mood plus they are really yummy!
