Hello everyone!
As you can probably see from the title today's post is a very exciting one! I will be joined by Marshmallow skies who is a truly amazing and inspirational blogger, please check out her blog here. A little while ago I went onto Marshmallow skies blog to collab with her as part of her advent extravaganza,in our post together we reviewed the Holly Golightly bubble bar, which you read here

Anyway, today we will be reviewing the Candy Mountain bubble bar, from Lush. The Candy Mountain bubble bar is one of the most popular christmas products and so I was looking forward to trying it out a lot! I absolutely love the cute look of the Candy mountain bar and think that the pink and white go really well together, but I think it could look more christmassy as I don't really see how pink, white and a mountain relate to anything festive. The price of this bar is only £2.95 which I think is a bargain!
You may already be aware, but I am really terrible at describing scents, but I will give it a go! This bubble bar smells very similar to snow fairy ,which is lush's christmas classic,it also smelt of vanilla and candy floss, which I loved and I think that it is actually up there with my favourite lush scents, but if you're somebody that doesn't like sweet things this scent may be too sickly for you.
Another good point about this bubble bar is that it crumbles much easier than the Holly Golightly, where I had to cut it with a knife. The water was also turned into such a pretty candy pink colour, with amazing speckles of glitter.

Now onto the bad points.Firstly,it didn't really relate to christmas at all for me,which is nothing major, but I love all the cute christmas designs and I would've said that the candy mountain bubble bar looked more valentine's themed personally. There was also quite a few bubbles, but compared to the holly golightly I would of liked a few more.
Overall I would give the candy mountain bubble bar a 8/10 because I love the scent and it's a really good product, but for me it's not christmassy enough and there was just a few too many bubbles, but I would buy again
Marshmallow skies review

I found the Candy Mountain bubble bar to be a really cute bubble bar, and at £2.95 who can argue that it's not a bargain?! I've heard soooooo many great reviews about this product, especially as it's one of Lush's signature Christmas bubble bars, so I had quite high expectations! The price for this product is great, however, unlike the Holly Golightly bubble bar, I was only able to get 1 great use out of it. When I was testing this product, I did use a small amount, but found that there weren't as many bubbles as I expected, so, being me, I chucked the whole thing in! I don't know if it was supposed to only produce a low amount of bubbles, and I had really high expectations after using the Holly Golightly bubble bar, but I wasn't impressed with the low bubble count!
However, the smell of this bubble bar is absolutely unbelievable. I've heard so many amazing things about the smell of Candy Mountain, but oh my gosh, if you haven't smelled it, get to your nearest Lush right now and smell it. The vanilla, which is the main scent of the bubble bar, is just absolutely gorgeous and it smells just so Christmassy! It is really sweet, which I love, however it may become a bit sickly after a while if you don't like that sort of thing. Candy Mountain uses the same scent as Snow Fairy, Lush's famous Christmas classic, so that gives you some sort of idea on the smell! The essential oils in the bubble bar also leave your skin feeling absolutely silky smooth, and the sweet scent clings to your skin for literally hours!

I think the Candy Mountain bubble bar is so cute-looking too! I love the bubblegum-pink colour, mixed in with the white and I think it just looks adorable. I don't know why but it also kinda reminds me of a little witches hat - like the one Glinda wears in the Wizard of Oz! I think maybe it could look a little bit more Christmassy though, as I don't really get how the pink and white relates to festive-ness!
In the bath, the Candy Mountain bubble bar was really really easy to crumble compared to the Holly Golightly bubble bar, which was great! The Candy Mountain bubble bar also made the water so pretty, as it turned the water beautiful candy pink colour with speckles of glitter floating around to give an extra little bit of fabulousness! However, like I said earlier, I found that the bubbles weren't very substantial and weren't very long lasting. This may be due to the fact I used the bubble bar a week after I'd bought it. Also, I think that my bubble bar was a bit weird because it felt damp in my hand before I used it, so perhaps this effected it?!
Overall, I'd rate the Candy Mountain bubble bar a 7 or 8 out of 10. This is because I think that it's an excellent product with and amazing smell and aesthetic, however I'm not too sure how it relates to Christmas and also, I'm not too impressed with the amount of bubbles!
