Blogmas 2015 #3 - The christmas tag

I thought that it might be fun to do a christmas tag because it's been a little while since I've done a tag and I am really getting into the festive mood now.Feel free to do this tag too and let me know so that I can have a read.If you don't have a blog then you are welcome to answer the questions in the comments!

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?

I like to watch multiple christmas films over the festive period,meaning that I don't really have just one favourite.However my top films are Home alone,Elf,The grinch and The nightmare before christmas.

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

I have always opened my presents Christmas morning whilst listening to christmas songs and eating chocolate,but for the past two years I have opened my presents the weekend before christmas because we go abroad on christmas day to get some winter sun,and so it's a little hard to take all our presents on a plane.

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

I think my favourite christmas memory has to be when my whole family stayed in a cottage for 2 weeks,it was just so nice to get to spend time together,singing christmas songs and catching up.

4. Favourite festive food?

Mince pies or cinnamon cookies - I can't decide because my dad makes both and they are both really really yummy!

5. Favourite Christmas gift?

I think that presents as a child were a lot more exciting so I have had to think back to that,I think that my favourite present has to be my sylvanian windmill and all the accessories I got with it.I just remembered how much I use to love my sylvanian families stuff!

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

I'm not sure really..I guess the smell of christmas dinner cooking or a christmas tree!

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

On christmas eve me and my family like to watch christmas films,have a buffet and play board games listening to christmas music! It helps to keep the festive mood up and makes everyone so excited!

8. What tops your tree?

For years we had a vintage gold fairy and when I was little my dad would lift me up at the end of all decorating to put it on,she was always a bit wonky and worn looking,it was a very sad day when we eventually decided to replace it with a glittery gold star,but she is still in the box today!

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

I don't think I did,I was a pretty sensible child (or at least I think so!) and I never wanted to ask for too much,though at one stage I wanted a puppy!

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?

For me the best part about christmas is being with family,there is nothing better than sitting in front of a fire singing christmas songs,hot chocolate in hand,with the people you love.
